Radio Kantipur has honored senior singer, musician and guitarist Madan Singh Nepali through the program “Salam Jyundho Itihasalai”. The senior Nepali musician was honored at the program organized at the studio of Kantipur Television in Tinkune, Kathmandu.

Anil Bogati, News Chief of Radio Kantipur, honored the Nepali by covering him with a dosalla and a certificate of honor. New generation artists including Benup Chhetri, Prashan Rajbhandari, Raju Tamang, Jyoti Tamang and Salina BK gave musical performances on Nepali songs at the program. Similarly, Sundar K. Maharjan on drums, Siddhant Sherchan on guitar, Sunil S. Nepali on keyboard and Krishna Limbu on bass guitar accompanied him.

Radio Kantipur honored the senior Nepali musician in recognition of his continuous and unwavering contribution to the field of Nepali music for four decades.

Nepali, who started his musical journey as an instrumentalist, has contributed to the field of music through composing music for more than 5,000 songs as well as instrumental and musical skills. Nepali, who was born in 2018 in Dillibazaar, Kathmandu, to father Ganesh Bahadur Pariyar and mother Sant Kumari, has dedicated most of his professional life to the advancement of Nepali music. He is still active in Nepali music and instrumentalism. His solo albums “Relimai Relimai” and “Palpal Raharma” are the most popular.

Radio Kantipur has been honoring distinguished personalities in the field of music and art through the program “Salam Jyundo Itihasalai”.
