The 'Critics Film Award' organized by the Film Critics Society, Nepal (Fiction) is scheduled to be held on Ashad 6. The society has informed through a press release that the awards for the years 2081 and 2082 will be distributed simultaneously at the Tourism Board on this Saturday.

The society has already selected the best filmmakers in various genres based on a detailed study, technical analysis and evaluation of the films released in the years 2081 and 2082 and made the results public. 'The main feature of this award is to appreciate the craft of filmmakers, their struggle and artistic courage,' the press release states.

1. Best Film: Shambala

2. Best Director: Min Bahadur Bham (Shambala)

3. Best Actor: Dayahang Rai (The Road to the Village)

4. Best Actress Thinley Lhamo (Shambala)

5. Best Screenplay: Sarishma Khatri and Siddharth Pudasaini (Sano Sansar)

6. Best Cinematography: Alok Shukla (Aankha)

7. Best Editing: J. Him Lee and Alex Gurvits (Rajagunj)

8. Best Sound Design: Kishore Acharya (Gaun Vaiki Bato)

9. Special Mention (Acting): Supala Sapkota (Boksiko Ghar)

10. Special Mention (Art Direction): Roshan Deewana (Purna Bahadur's Sarangi)
