The list of films to be screened at the Nepal America International Film Festival 2026 has been made public. The festival, organized by the Nepal America Film Society, will be held from June 25 to 28 at the AFI Silver Theater and Cultural Center and Greenbelt Cinema in Maryland, USA.
The organizers have stated that 38 feature and short films from 11 countries including Nepal, America, and India will be screened this year.
The festival will open with 'Shape of Momo' directed by Tribeni Rai and close with 'Shakti' directed by Nani Sarah Walker. 'Shape of Momo', which premiered at the 30th Busan Film Festival in South Korea, won two awards at the festival.
Nepali-American director Amitabh Joshi's 'Have You Seen My God?' will also be screened at the festival. It is said that the festival will also host an interaction with the director, a masterclass on filmmaking, and community programs.
