Rangsutra Nepal is going to stage the play 'Deh Par Kothi Khasa Diya' at the Malangiya Festival to be held in New Delhi. The play will be jointly directed by playwrights Ram Bhajan Kamat and Pushparaj Awasthi. The writer of the play is Mahendra Malangiya.
The actors in the play will be Rupesh Kumar Mandal, Reena Rimal, Ram Bhajan Kamat, Sagar Karki, Birendra Singh Kushwaha, Pushparaj Awasthi, Chandrashekhar Raya and Ayushma Joshi. The lighting design of the play will be done by Shree Krishna Shahi while the sound management will be handled by Suraj Gharti Magar. Rajip Yadav has taken the responsibility of the props manager. Reena Rimal has done the costume management.
The play, prepared in Maithili language, is scheduled to be staged at 7 pm on the 14th as part of the festival. The organizers have announced that 35 different plays by writer Mahendra Malangiya will be staged at the
festival. It is said that all the plays will be presented in the Maithili language. In addition, the festival will also include various cultural and other programs, and more than 65 organizations are participating. The
festival will be held from April 11 to 15.
