The Bhaktapur Film Festival concluded with the screening of the documentary 'Mother Rebecca' directed by Sandesh Bhurtel. The festival, which began on Chaitra 6, screened 24 films. The program, organized for the first time at the Nepal Vocational Academy in Bhaktapur, was concluded with the presence of Bhaktapur Municipality Deputy Mayor Rajani Joshi, directors Sujit Bidari, Prabin Karki, Sachin Ghimire and other filmmakers.
The festival, which began with the screening of the film 'Gaun Wae Bato' directed by Navin Subba, was organized by a group of young filmmakers from Bhaktapur including Kiran Kilambu, Safal Vaidya, Smit Giri, Bikesh Prajapati, Saksham KC, and Prabin Takki.

Director Bidari said that it was good that the film festival started in Bhaktapur despite the delay. 'Aina Jhyalko Putali', directed by him, was also screened at the festival. 'This festival should have started earlier. But starting now is a good start. Now let this festival continue,' said Director Bidari. The director of the festival is Kiran Kilambu.
