Meanwhile, famous filmmaker and director Ram Gopal Varma has announced that he will make the fourth version of his cult classic film 'Sarkar', namely 'Sarkar 4'.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the Red Lorry Film Festival, director Verma informed that the work on 'Sarkar 4' will start from next month. Verma said, 'I am making 'Sarkar 4' and will start shooting for it from next month.'
Along with this, he also discussed his next project 'The Syndicate'. This political crime drama franchise directed by Ram Gopal Varma has released three parts so far.
'Sarkar' The first part was released in 2005, starring Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role. The film was based on the world of Marathi politics and crime.
‘Sarkar Raj’ was released in 2008. The second part also starred Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai in important roles. ‘Sarkar 3’ was released in 2017 after a long gap.
All the previous three parts impressed the audience. Now, after seven years, the announcement of the fourth installment has excited the fans.
A special screening of Varma’s famous film ‘Shiva’ was held at the festival. On the occasion, he also spoke openly about the inspiration behind his filmmaking. He revealed that he was inspired by the work of Hollywood veteran director Steven Spielberg for the visual style and the idea for the story came from martial arts legend Bruce Lee’s film ‘The Way of the Dragon’.
