Despite strong performances from actors like Shahid, Trupti, and Nana Patekar, the film failed to cross the Rs 100 crore mark in its first week.

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor's new film 'Oh Romeo' has completed a week of release.
Directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, the film has seen a slow box office collection despite Shahid appearing in an action avatar.
Along with Shahid, the film also stars Avinash Tiwari, Tripti Dimri, Nana Patekar, Disha Patani, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vikrant Massey. Despite having a star cast, the film has not been able to do the expected business.
According to reports published in Indian media, 'O Romeo' was made on a huge budget of around 150 crores. However, in the first week of its release, the film has collected only 47.15 crores (net) at the domestic box office.
The film earned the highest 12.65 crores on the second day of its release. Released on February 13 (Falgun 1), the film seems to be struggling to touch the 100 crore mark in its total collection over seven days.
Although the audience liked Shahid's role in the film, the film still needs to make a big leap to raise its investment.
The business of 'O Romeo' has been further challenged after two new films were added to the theaters from Friday (February 20).
