People who have contributed to the promotion of art, literature and culture of the Far West were honored with the Soup Entertainment Music Award on Monday. They were honored at the fourth National Soup Entertainment Music Award program organized by Soup Entertainment and Badulki Media House here.

The program honored people who have contributed to the fields of music, art, literature, health, tourism, social service and journalism. Former Forest Minister of Sudurpaschim Province Ramesh Singh Dhami said that such an honor would boost the morale of the creators as art, culture and music play a role in social transformation.

Various artists who have contributed to the songs, music and Deuda singing of the Sudurpaschim were honored. Tek Bahadur Air was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, Maya Prakash Bhatta was awarded the Tourism Promotion Award, Prem Singh Ojha was awarded the Educational Award, Himat Rawal was awarded the Art Journalism Award, and Harina Saud was awarded the Singer Award.

Similarly, Hemant Bivas was awarded the Audience Literature Award, Kalpana Bhatta was awarded the Social Service Award, Dr. Bivek Joshi was awarded the Health Service Award, and KP Kalauni was awarded the Art Award. A selection committee comprising senior singer Narendra Raj Regmi, journalist Khemraj Upadhyay, and senior director Bhim Thapa was formed to present awards in various categories.
