The seventh edition of Radio Kantipur's annual 'Radio on Wheels' music program concluded in Birendranagar on Monday.

On the occasion, comedian Raja Rajendra Pokharel, singer Bishwa Nepali, Dance Champion Nepal winner Barsha Phuyal, Dance Champion Season-1 winner Rosika Rawat and others performed.

This year's program, which began in Nepalgunj on Saturday, reached Surkhet via Dhangadhi on Sunday.

The program, which lasted for about 4 hours at the Ghantaghar in Birendranagar, had the surrounding area buzzing with the artist's performances and the audience's booing. Quizzes and other games played in between the programs won the hearts of the audience. Various gifts were distributed to the audience by the sponsors, while Radio Kantipur's host duo Mahima Bhattarai and Prajwal Khadka made the musical atmosphere interesting.

'Radio on Wheels' will reach Kathmandu on 8th Magh after touring 14 different cities of the country. The program will be organized in cities including Butwal, Pokhara, Narayangadh, Dharan, Janakpur, Birtamod, Itahari, Biratnagar, Lahan and Hetauda. This year, ‘Radio on Wheels’ is sponsored by Extreme Energy Drink, while Global IME Bank, TVS Motorcycles and others have supported it, Radio Kantipur has said.

Deepak Khadka of Birendranagar-12 became the winner of the program through a lottery. On behalf of Extreme Energy Drink and Max Tiger Energy Drinks, he has received tickets for the T20 World Cup to be held in Mumbai on February 8. These tickets will be distributed to one person each in all the cities where the program will be organized through a ‘lucky draw,’ Radio Kantipur says.
