In one scene of the trailer, the Google Gemini (AI) logo was seen on the screen while the gun was being loaded. This is why the film is facing criticism on social media.
Releasing on January 9, a user commented that the film is an insult to the audience. ‘Use Gemini for a remake too?’ Another user asked. Someone said, ‘A budget of 400 crores, but such a mistake?’ and criticized.
After the controversy erupted, the production team has edited the Google Gemini logo. The logo is not visible in the official trailer now. However, the old clip showing the logo is still going viral on social media.
The makers of the film have not yet given any official response on this matter. ‘Jana Nayakan’ is considered one of the most awaited films of Vijay’s career.
