Renowned children's lyricist Ram Babu Subedi's new children's song 'Hami Sangi Saathi' was released on Friday at a function organized at the Basundhara National Academy in Kathmandu.
The song, which was prepared to inform children about friendship, truth and various aspects of daily life, features the acting and dancing of 16 young students of Basundhara National Academy. Speaking at the
children's song public function, lyricist and children's literature creator Rambabu Subedi said that the song was prepared with the intention of making children dance to the song that reflects the Nepali language and culture. Lyricist Karun Thapa said that the children's song project was started through Rambabu Subedi to promote Nepali children's songs and child talent as a work of the country, not for personal gain, and that it will continue. The guests of the
program spoke about the role of Rambabu Subedi's children's songs in the spread of Nepali children's songs. They expressed the opinion that children's songs should be produced, promoted and encouraged at a time when school cultural programs are being conducted on the songs of adults.
