Folk and duet singer Badri Pangeni has released the song 'Jhayappai', which is based on the love story between a young man from the Bahun and Magar communities.

‘This song depicts the love between a young man from the Brahmin community and a young woman from the Magar community,’ said folk singer Pangeni. ‘Along with this, we have included tourist sites in Rampur Municipality and Nisdi Rural Municipality of Palpa in the song.’ Pangeni’s birthplace is Rampur, Palpa. 

The song features the voices of folk singer Pangeni and singer Jyoti Magar. Pangeni has released the song through her official YouTube channel. The lyrics of the song are by Narayan Gyawali. The music is composed by singer Pangeni. The music video of the song features Suresh Kohli, Aarushi Magar, Min Somai Magar, Hari Khanal and others. 

The music video of the song, recorded at Prism Studio, has been directed by singer Pangeni. The song’s arrangement has been done by Shyamshwat Rasaili and choreography by Avi Wagle. Singer Pangeni said that the new song has been released as a continuation of the song and music. 

He said that the video was shot in a new place to promote the tourist spots of Nisdi Rural Municipality and Rampur Municipality. The video of the song covers places such as Kaule Danda and Khadar in Jhirubas of Nisdi Rural Municipality of Palpa, as well as Pipalbhanjyang in Galdha and Tatopani, Nagar Gaushakhala, Kathan, Ram Mandir in Rampur Municipality. 

‘I have tried to convey originality and reality,’ said the former chairman of the National Folk and Dohori Geet Pratishthan Nepal, ‘I have reached remote villages with a plan to promote tourist spots along with songs and music.’
