The first trans-Himalayan film exhibition has begun today. The exhibition was launched by neighboring country China in collaboration with three universities in Nepal.

The exhibition, which will show four Chinese films, will be organized at Tribhuvan University, Kathmandu University, and Lumbini Buddhist University. The exhibition began on Sunday at the Central Department of Mass Communication and Journalism under Tribhuvan University.

Chinese films were screened in the newly built building of the department among filmmakers, organizers, and viewers. A special exhibition of the film 'The Spirit of the Mountains' was held on the first day of the exhibition. Famous actors including actors Pradeep Khadka and Buddhi Tamang had come to watch the film.

Actor Khadka, who participated in the exhibition to promote the film 'Alone', said that China should also cooperate in Nepali film production and move forward. Artist Buddhi Tamang also said that this exhibition will help start co-production with Nepali films.
