His acting was highly praised in the two films 'Laaj Sharanam' and 'Pheri Resham Filili', which were released together in 2081.

Although the film 'Laaj Sharanam' did not receive good reviews, Mahesh's acting was praised. He played the role of a young man from Karnali in the film. On the other hand, many liked the role of a gender minority in 'Pheri Resham Filili'.
