Uday Subba has been elected as the president of the Nepal Film Producers Association. Elections were held for the posts of president, general secretary and secretary on Monday.

Jyotiraj Rai was elected as the vice-chairman of the association, while Raunak Bikram Kandel was elected unopposed. Khagendra Lamichhane was elected as the general secretary, while Yubaraj Giri was elected as the secretary. Ram Prasad Rijal was elected unopposed as the treasurer. Similarly, the association's working committee members include Shreedhar Poudel, Tanka Bahadur Budhathoki, Manoj Kumar Adhikari, Ghanendra Thapaliya, Rajkumar Pandit and Pravin Karki, and Chumbanjung Shahi.

In the 19th annual general meeting of the association, there was a competition between the production duo Subba and Sunil Kumar Thapa for the post of president.
