Prof. Dr. Ramesh Singh Bhandari, a gastroenterologist at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj, performed a solo concert at LOD in Thamel, Kathmandu, on Saturday evening.

He was accompanied by a team including guitarist Dev Lama and Roshan Shrestha in the musical evening titled 'When Profession Meets Passion Magic Happens'.

Bhandari, a liver transplant specialist who started the concert with the song 'Neelo Akash', sang 18 songs, including 7 of his own, in about two hours.

'Since I am in the medical profession, performing in a concert is a completely different experience for me,' he said after the concert, 'The first concert was both fun and I received respect. I did this concert because I should keep my passion alive apart from my profession.'

Bhandari, who has been involved in the medical profession for about 18 years, has released songs including Odher Pachyauri, Sakeen, Dhavan, Jasin Bhanu, Timro Nai Maya, Eto Jeevan.
