The film 'Wool Sweater' is now set to be released in India as well. An official statement has been released announcing that Asli Productions will distribute the film, produced by Artmandu, in India.
Director Naveen Chauhan said that the film will be screened in cinema halls in major locations including Darjeeling, Siliguri, Gangtok, Kurseong, Kalimpong, Assam and Delhi in the first phase from November 21.
The film had done business of more than Rs 120 million at the Nepali box office.
For the Indian release of 'Wool Sweater', which recently passed the censor board of India, SVF Cinema in Darjeeling, Kurseong Fantasy Cinema in Kurseong, Namchi Imperial Cinema in Namchi, Denjong Cinema and Vajra Cinema in Gangtok in Sikkim, as well as INOX Gangtok Cinema in Gangtok, INOX Cinema City Center in Siliguri for West Bengal, INOX Vega Circle, INOX Agropolis Siliguri and South City Siliguri have already provided their screens for the screening.
The premiere of the film is scheduled to be held in Sikkim on November 20, 1 day before the release. Actors Bipin Karki and Alex Paras, singer Sujan Chapagain and director Navin Chauhan will participate in the premiere from Nepal.
The film, written and directed by Navin Chauhan, stars Bipin Karki, Miruna Magar, Alex Paras, Pariksha Limbu, Suraj Tamu, Prakash Basnet, Wilson Vikram Rai, Bhavana Khapangi Magar and Sunil Pokharel.
The film has lyrics by Sujan Chapagain and music by Kovid Bajra.
