The children's song 'Gahbhari Anusha' (Deep Tears) written by famous children's lyricist and writer Ram Babu Subedi was made public at a program organized in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
At the event, Ram Babu Subedi, Member Secretary of Nepal Pragya Pratishthan Dhan Prasad Subedi, journalist/writer Deepak Sapkota, Dr. Buddhiman Shrestha, Dr. Rabindraman Shrestha, Prof. Dr. Sandhya Shrestha, actress Suraksha Pant, child artist Ansu Karki, poet Renu Adhikari, sound engineer Prakash Kharel jointly released 'Gahabhari Anusha'.
At the launch of 'Gahabhari Anusha', which discusses the dental health of children, students, doctors and teachers studying 'Dental Health' at Kantipur Dental College also presented their views on dental problems.
'Gahabhari Anusha' features actress Suraksha Pant, child artist Ansu Karki and others.
Actress Suraksha Pant shared her acting experience in the children's song 'Gahabhari Anusha'. ‘I got to experience the small joys and sorrows of children up close,’ she said.
Dhanprasad Subedi expressed the view that more films should be made on children’s issues and that they should identify the problems of children. ‘Such films will help us understand the suffering of children,’ he said.
Journalist Deepak Sapkota said that understanding the problems of children and discussing their health will help build a healthy society. ‘This song film inspires children to think about their health, how to stay healthy, and to be serious about how to maintain their health,’ Sapkota said.
The song-film 'Gahabhari Anusha', produced in collaboration with Kantipur Dental College under the Children's Song Project run by Kitab Charo Nepal, has been sung by singers Babina Bhattarai and Suprima Thapa and directed by director Acharya Gopal.
'Only by loving children will a beautiful society be built, so I prefer to write songs about them,' said Ram Babu Subedi.
Director Acharya Gopal, who has already directed documentaries and short films on children, says, 'Only by investing in children and identifying their problems and working on them, can they also be taught to be responsible towards society. We have tried to show their suffering through the film.
