‘Jari 2: Song of Chhaybrung’ has garnered positive response at its premiere. The film, which has been in theaters since today, premiered on Friday at Big Movies in Kathmandu’s City Center with a large attendance of filmmakers, color journalists, and film lovers.

After watching the film, Deputy Speaker Indira Rana Magar said that she had also watched the previous version and said that this film has a message. 'I had also watched the first part of the release. Today I got to watch the second part as well. I am very happy. This film has given a good message. Moreover, it has been made in a different period setup compared to the first part. Which the director has beautifully conveyed,' she told the media.

The film, directed by Upendra Subba, features Dayahang Rai, Vijay Baral, Miruna Magar and Richa Sharma among others in the lead roles.

Other actors in the film include Buddhi Tamang, Pushkar Gurung, Prem Subba, Manhang Lawati, Bishnu Moktan, Kamalmani Nepal, Anil Subba, Rekha Limbu and Sirjana Ninglekhu.
