The Bollywood film 'Diary of Manipur' is going to be shot in Chitwan, which has a geography and population similar to Manipur in India. According to the production side, 80 percent of the film will be shot in Chitwan and Pokhara, where Monalisa, the viral girl of the Mahakumbh Mela in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh, India, is the main star.
The lead actor and director held a press conference at Lumbini Press Club building in Bhairawa on Sunday afternoon and gave information about the film. A group of 12 people including the film's director and lead actors have gone to Chitwan for filming. The production team informed that 100 people will be coming from India from Sunday as artists and technicians respectively. Sanoj Mishra, the director of the

According to him, the film will be shot for 20 days in the flat and hilly areas of Chitwan and the remaining 10 days will be shot in Pokhara. He said that about 80 percent of Nepali actors will be given a chance in this film.
Mishra who has directed 17 films so far, 'Gandhigiri' and 'Diary of West Bengal' are successful films. "In my 32-year artistic journey, there is a lot of support from Nepalis and Nepalis," said Mishra, who is the producer, writer and director of the film. He said that Nepal's great hero Rajesh Hamal and other artists are his friends.
According to him, Amit Rao and Abhisen Tripathi also came along with Mona Lisa, the main character of the film, on Sunday. Mishra said that 16-year-old Monalisa, who became viral by selling rudraksha garlands at the Mahakumbh Mela, was given the opportunity to act in the film for the first time. The film's actress Monalisa said that she was happy to come to Nepal. "Coming to Nepal and playing a role in a film is like a dream for me," she said, "I never thought I would become an actor, I can't describe my happiness." The main character of the
film, Amit Rao, is the elder brother of Bollywood actor Rajkummar Rao. Acting in theater and Ramlila for a long time, he said that it was his childhood dream to act in films. "We used to watch movies together as a family," he said. The director of the film, Mishra, said that after watching the clip of Ramleela's performance, he was given the opportunity to act in the film. Abhishek Tripathi, another prominent character of the
film, informed that his parents had already come to Nepal and visited Pashupatinath. Tripathi said, "I had a dream to come to Nepal and see Pashupatinath from my childhood. This time, both dreams of visiting Pashupatinath and acting in a film will be fulfilled." Director Mishra said that the filming of the
film will help in the promotion of tourist destinations like Chitwan. He said that some parts of the film will be shot in Manipur and Delhi in India, but the main location will be Chitwan.
