'How long is the life of a dream?' After seeing 58-year-old Mohan Bhandari, who was learning drama as a student at the 17th Lab of Mandala Theatre, the artist Anup Neupane became thoughtful.

At a time when he was afraid that his dream would be lost from him at a young age, there was an old man who became his student last May. He saluted with love and reverence like other students. That scene made Anup shiver . Even at that age, when he saw Mohan who had come to fulfill his dream, he laughed with himself,  I am living my own dream. There is no delay.'

Mohan appeared in two characters in the recently concluded drama 'Sirumarani' written by writer Sarubhakta. Directed by Anup and Sumitra Pehim, the play is a lab production of Mandla . After playing the role of Rishi and Rajguru in the drama, many people noticed Mohan . Some of them kept the role of Rishi in mind and asked outside the hall, ``Did Baba come from Pashupati for that character? It felt like that .'

A 58-year-old student studying drama in theatre Mohan was happy with the response to his character. I thought, 'This is my success.' In Mandla, Mohan sat with young people who were much younger than his children and learned drama from teachers who were his children's age. They called Mohan Uncle . Considered a friend. They get tired while playing or practicing. Mohan was not tired. 'I felt like I was young . "I used to feel old only after looking in the mirror," says Mohan.

Mohan lives in Tarakeshwar-7, Kathmandu. House Butwal . As a child, she loved to act. Loved to play. Even if you do it with your heart on stage while studying in school . There was no condition to fulfill the dream. Mother left the world within 6 months of birth . Bale brought to Sania . At the age of reading, you have to go to buffalo grazing . However, he studied up to class 10. Then one day I left home. Co-driver sat in the car . From that day, my Gadiline journey started,' Mohan remembers.

By becoming a co-driver, he started selling car tickets at the bus park . Rapti was in charge of the regional transport business committee. During that time, he started the handicraft business. Spouse came, children came into life . He also worked hard to fulfill their dreams.

A 58-year-old student studying drama in theatre Mohan has two sons. Both of them have settled down. The eldest son and daughter are in America. Younger's family in the UK . After turning 50, Mohan took a break from his profession and business. Thought - now I have to fulfill my own dream . 20 years ago he watched a play at the Kathmandu Nachghar . Even at that time, I thought that I too could get on this stage one day . That day did not come for a long time .

A friend named Gopal Khadka had a camera . Mohan started making short films and videos with him. He used to make whatever came. He used to play as he came. At the same time, he also played in some teleserials. As time goes on, new relationships show new paths . Although he appeared in 6 films . There was a scene where Deepakraj Giri's character slaps a government employee in 'Chakkapanja 4'. He was Mohan in that employee movie .

He wanted to excel in his acting . A friend suggested, "I learned at the national dance hall". You should not go there either.' He had heard the name of ragkarmi Anup Baral many times. I went to say that he teaches. He has already left. Kamat sir taught us Ram Bhajan,' says Mohan. On the first day of going there to learn drama, one of them said, 'You did well . You must fulfill your wish sir.'

But learning dance did not seem to fulfill his wish. It was not taught at the time. Nor was it taught well. It was like it was done just to do it. Our friends even fought,' he says .

A 58-year-old student studying drama in theatre He also did a play there. The audience also appreciated . But Mohan's mind was not accepted. While learning drama there, he was also watching the drama happening in Mandla . How can they do such a good play? When will I get on the stage in the same way,' he kept thinking about this. This thought made him stand as a student in the new batch of Mandala Theater. At that time, he talked about going to Mandla to learn drama with his sons. The eldest son said, 'You can and you ? Today's children are taught in English.' He confidently said, 'I can.' The little son happily said, 'You have fulfilled our dream.' Now fulfill your dreams.' Both sons saw the family's happiness in their father's happiness. But what do the relatives believe? They used to joke . He used to joke .

Lab teachers Somnath Khanal and Anup Neupane were shocked on the first day they went to learn drama in Mandla. They happily told Mohan, 'We were proud when you came here.' 'Anup sir would not have been born when I gave SLC.' Later he narrated . Sometimes he used to say uncle sometimes sir . It was fun,' says Mohan.

He used to reach the class 15 minutes early . Once the class was going on, they were made to act out childhood . Mohan went back to the days when he was a child. He cried while acting. Other students came and took over. "At that time, I remembered my mother," says Mohan. The rehearsal of the

A 58-year-old student studying drama in theatre drama 'Sirumarani' was going on . All the students cheered him, 'Uncle you have the part of the old king .' But Mohan's part did not get that character . I am not sad. Because I am a student . I came here to study. I was happy that I got to play by luck,' he says. Instead, other students cried and expressed their displeasure as they did not get the character they wanted. He reminded, "There is only one king". How many people to give? Sirumarani is one. To whom to give . First of all, we are students. It is our good fortune to do this.' On the first day of staging the

play, director Anup said, 'From now on, this is your stage.' Mohan's eyes filled with tears. He wiped so that no one could see . His wife came to watch his play. She went happily. Relatives came,  Stunned and left.  Coming to the

drama, he feels like he got a lot. He has started reading books these days . In the meeting with us, Mohan told that he was reading 'Khusi' by Vijay Kumar Pandey. He also had more books on his list .

Now he wants to spend the rest of his life in acting. No matter how young, he is asking for roles in dramas. When Anup is observing all these things, a new idea is emerging these days.  Like him, my father and mother also had a dream. We may not have been able to fulfill our reasons. Now when I go home, I want to ask about their dreams,' says Anup.
