Pakistan's famous singer Qurratulain Baloch has been injured in a bear attack.

On Thursday night, she was camping in the famous Deosai National Park in Gilgit-Balistan with her team.

She was suddenly attacked by a Himalayan brown bear while she was inside Tripal. When the bear entered Tripal, she screamed loudly. After that, his team members, wildlife officers and hotel staff immediately rushed to the tented spot .

Wildlife staff and the Gilgit-Balistan government have spoken to BBC Urdu and said that the singer's hand has been injured. It is said that it may have been carved with a bear's claw. 

The bear is said to have fled immediately after the attack. The official who reached the spot said, "Kurratulain must have been very brave". He did not faint after seeing the bear.'

It is said that there is a hungry bear weighing more than 200 kilograms. Wildlife officials said the situation could have been worse if Kartulain had fainted at the sight of the bear.
