Tamang Movie Association celebrated the 30th Tamang Movie Screening Day. Tamang Movie Day was celebrated in Kathmandu on Saturday with various cultural programs and honoring the creators.

V.No. In commemoration of the day when Tamang movie was screened for the first time on August 16, 2052, the association has been celebrating Tamang Movie Screening Day every year.  In the

program, TFR honors were given in 22 categories including film producer, director, hero/heroine, singer/singer, composer, dance director, comedian, social activist .

event, Kunsang Lama, Mayor of Kavrepalanchok Namobuddha Municipality, said that Tamang movie is not only entertainment but also a movement to save the culture, language and identity of the community. Film Development Board Chairman Dinesh DC said that Tamang movie is an integral part of the national film industry. Saying that Tamang movie has given diversity to Nepali movies, he emphasized that it is necessary to make it more technical and market friendly.
