In this performance, the contestants take out the guitar and play in the air. In it, the contestants act out playing the guitar passionately, they present themselves on the stage in different clothes . However, they don't get to play real instruments on the stage. The two-hour world championships featured many top competitors, including eight national champions from last year's winners.
The winner of this competition is selected by a five-member jury of performing arts experts. The winner is being given a real guitar as a prize. This competition has been held since 1996. According to the organizers of this competition, after playing the air guitar, 'world wars will end, climate change will stop and all bad things will disappear.'
