Nepal Art and Culture Festival 2025 (NAC Fest) is going to be held under the joint project of Nepal Art Council and Nepal Tourism Board. This event, which will be held from August 20 to October 11, aims to promote the art, food and heritage of Nepal.

Indra Jatra will be the focal point of this program which will be organized in Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Bhaktapur and Kirtipur. Ayusha Shrestha, the festival coordinator and curator of Nepal Art Council, said that more than 40 activities/programs will be included in this program which will last for 21 days in collaboration with more than 12 organizations. Indrajatra, a festival celebrated by the locals, takes place at this time, so the festival will hold 'NAC Fest' at the same time as the jatra, with the aim of attracting tourists.

'We are organizing this event to promote Nepal culture and tourism,' said Ayusha. The festival will be started by Nepal Art Council. Ayusha also said that the program will be inaugurated in the presence of President Ramchandra Paudel. According to him, there will be various events in the cities where the festival will be held, from visits to heritage sites to 'celebrations' of local food. The program will conclude on October 11 at Patan Museum.

President of Nepal Art Council Sagar Shamser Jabara said that they envisioned this program a year ago. We thought of starting the first year in a small way. However, this program became huge in the first year itself. We will continue to celebrate this program with such a large participation of people,'' President Jabara said.

Deepak Raj Joshi, executive officer of Nepal Tourism Board, said that this program is connected to make Nepal's heritage known to the world. We are united that along with the preservation of our culture, the uniqueness and magnificence of our heritage should be made known to the world. This is definitely the beginning," said Joshi. "Private organizations have also supported this program. In the world, Nepal's tourism has only reached the Himalayas. However, no matter how rich we are in culture, food and heritage, these things seem to be overshadowed.

President Joshi says that the board cooperated with NAC with the expectation of promoting the splendor of Nepal's culture and increasing the number of tourists and contributing to national income generation.
