Organized by Akshara School and in collaboration with Lalabala, the second school-level five-day national drama festival held at the 'Studio Theater' in Pingalasthan, Kathmandu, has been completed.

The festival, which was inaugurated on August 2 with actor Vijay Baral as the chief guest, was completed on Friday with the performances of Little Angels School's 'Bhirma Phuleka Phool', Pawan Prakriti School's 'Pitaharu', Peak Point Education Network's 'Yashaswi Bhava' and Kathmandu Pragya Kunj School's 'Sameer Nacheko Din'. At the closing event of

, the founder director of the host school Akshara, Anju Bhattarai, distributed certificates to the students of the participating schools. At the festival, 17 plays from 17 schools across the country were staged under the 'Theatre in Education Programme'.

Festival: 'Ichcha Versus Samay' by Valley View School, 'Gita' by Gladstone Academy, 'Baimani Kaal' by Akashganga International Academy, 'Yashaswi Bhava' by Peak Point Education Network, 'The Tale of Indrajatra' by Global Public School, 'Parvati' by NIST School, 'Dukhi Rajkumari' by Kanjirova National Secondary School, 'Sameer' by Pragya Kunj School, Kathmandu. Dancing Day', Himalayan White House School's 'The Greek Mythology Olympianza', Times Elementary School's 'Sad Princess', Akashganga International Academy's 'Baimani Kaal', Rosebud School's 'Foreign School', Creative Academy School's 'Void with Dreams', The Joy House Collective School's 'The Colorful Dream of Joy Fish', Kasthamandap School's 'The Internet Is' A Distrac-O Look Kitten' and host school Akshara's 'Mokshko Marg' were staged. 

The director of the festival, Tank Choulagai, said that the first edition of the drama festival was organized by Lalabala.
