Nepali music festival to be held in Japan

'Nepal Music Fest 2025' is going to be organized in four big cities of Japan - Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka and Nagoya. This festival, which is going to start in the coming month of August with the main objective of 'connecting Nepali music with the world', will help establish Nepali music, culture and community on the international stage.

The festival will feature special performances by famous and popular music groups of Nepal - Swaar, The Edge and Kabweb. The Swar band, which presents traditional Nepali tunes in a modern style, has prepared to win the hearts of the audience with its famous songs like 'Aparibhashit', 'Badal Sari', and 'Ma Mare Phani'.

The Edge Band, which has been creating a deep connection with the young generation through songs that contain emotional energy and social messages, is making this festival special as its 25th anniversary. The presence of Kabweb Band, which brought a revolution in Nepali rock music, is also considered a special attraction of the program. The

festival will kick off on August 3 at Tokyo's Bell Saale Takadanobaba, then proceed to Osaka's Namba Hatch, Fukuoka's Zepp Fukuoka, and Nagoya's Diamond Hall. The festival aims to strengthen the cultural relationship between Nepal and Japan. Tickets for the

event will be available online through Meriticket. Tickets with early bird, standard, fan pit and VIP packages will be sold digitally, with special technology to prevent fraud. The campaign will be conducted in all three languages namely Nepali, Japanese and English.
