Drop the film, play in the theater many!

There is a dearth of Nepali films in theaters now. Who will go to watch a movie during the rainy season? That is why foreign films are the rule in the hall now. In May, five Nepali films were screened consecutively every week, but the number of films screened has decreased sharply since June.

In June, only 'Yo Man Ta Mero Nepali Ho' was shown. A single film titled 'Citamol' is also ready for release in July.  While the number of films in

halls is decreasing, the capital's theaters are full of new dramas. The play 'Kagtali' is being staged from July 7 at the Kaushi Theater in Teku . Directed by Naveen Chandra Aryal, this play will be staged till July 31. The play is  Co-directed by Savin Bhattarai and Vishnu Rai. In this crime, thriller, comedy genre, Basna Timilsina, Rupesh Lama, Savin Bhattarai, Sujan Paudel, Jeevan Dahal, Amrit Kaucha and others are acting.

'Swarndesh' has been staged at Mandla Theater from July 9 . Directed by Aakash Nepali, this play is written by Sarita Kathayat. The story of the hard struggle of those who entered America is covered in this play. Another play staged in Mandla is 'Who killed the moon ?' It will be staged by July 18. This play includes issues of gender and minorities. From today, a 21-year-old group of trainees of Sarvanam is staging a play 'Jab Phool Le Shakar Leyka' at Sarvanam Theatre. This play will be staged till July 18.

'Shirishko Phool' is on stage at Kantipur Theater from July 8. Due to the fact that the famous actor Jeevan Luintel is acting, this play has been discussed in the city since some time ago. This theater came into operation by staging the drama 'Meera' with Rekha Thapa in the lead role. Sanisha Bhattarai has the lead role along with Jeevan in 'Shirish Ko Phool' directed by Patrika Ghimire. The play will be staged by July 27.
