After 12 years, the Nepathya Band will perform again at Wembley.  Nepathya will be presented at the famous Wembley Arena in Britain on the evening of August 9. This is the same stage where the band gave a historic performance on August 3, 2013.

Not limited to the concert of a single band, it was also the moment when Nepali song-music was presented with equal grandeur on an internationally respected stage for the first time. More than seven thousand spectators were present at that time. That is the grandest audience attendance that Nepathya has ever received inside a closed hall.

'Wembley's influence expanded to such an extent that after that it became easier for us to get stages where internationally famous bands stand in the major cities of the world,' says Kiran Krishna Shrestha from Nepal, who is managing the band.

Amrit Gurung, the band's lead singer, still gets emotional when he remembers the Wembley experience 12 years ago. "We have been loved by the audience even before," he says, "but after the performance at Wembley, we have been feeling a different height." "The sound from that huge audience, clapping, shaking hands and the light of the mobile phones everywhere made my legs so weak that I had to stoop with force just to stand straight," he adds, "That moment was like a challenge of my life and I stood in front of it and as soon as I got the courage, I completely absorbed myself in the audience." BSK Entertainment and Parcha Productions are coordinating.

Amrit will be assisted on stage by Dhruv Lama on the drumset, Suvin Shakya on the bass guitar, Neeraj Gurung on the guitar, Shanti Rayamazhi on the Madal and Dineshraj Regmi on the keyboard. Within the last three months, Nepathya has made a series of trips to Australia and America.

'Nepathya's upcoming concert is creating another history of Nepali music in the UK,' says Dipendra Lama of the local organizing team, 'Seven thousand tickets have already been sold and a large number of audience inquiries have started.'
