The much awaited award program 'National Music Awards (NMA) 2081' is being held today (Saturday) at the Godavari Sunrise Convention Centre. This award program, which is going to be organized by Radio Kantipur, has also become awaited because of the concert with the performance of young artists Durgesh Thapa and Kum Sagar.

Not only because of the special performances of young artists, but because of the awards given in various genres of music, the 'National Music Awards' has become a awaited event for the music sector itself. The wait for the award nominees has started since the announcement of the top five nominations list. If we look at it in terms of categories, it seems that the category of 'Best New Singer' is still waiting for 'NMA'. 

Singer Karan Pariyar didn't know much about the award until he got the news that he was nominated. When Shiv Pariyar took to social media expressing his happiness at being nominated, Karan realized the importance of the NMA. He has been nominated for this category for 'Mohini Tuhi Roop'.

Karan got this song especially when he was going to sing a song about blood donation. He went to music composer Arjun Pokhrel's studio to sing blood donation song. In another studio next door was recordist and lyricist Narayan Kumar Acharya. The two offered Karan to sing the song there.

Karan, who was nominated for NMA through this song, says that nomination is a bigger issue for him than the result. "For me, getting nominated is a bigger thing than winning," Karan added, "This song is different from others. It's also my favorite song.' 

Even Subodh Sagar Dhakal is stunned to be nominated in the same category with other talented singers including Karan. He is a doctor by profession. A professor of 'Chest and Critical Care', music is a subject of interest for him. He plays the guitar. He composes himself and makes songs. As music was his passion, he did not publicize the songs he recorded. Family members continue to encourage the release of the song. After that, Subodh released the song. This time, in this category, the song "Are Are" was released. This song nominated Subodh for the 'Debut Singer' category. 

'In particular, I am 52 years old, a doctor by profession. I am a person who does not fit in the list of debut singers," said Subodh. "It was because of my family that I started bringing out songs." Growing up in Dharan, Subodh learned music from his friends while he was there. Even during 'MD', Subodh used to sing songs. Just last year, Subodh released an album titled 'Akash Maat'. The nomination of the single song 'Are Are' has made Subodh's family more happy than Subodh himself. "When my song is nominated like this, the audience will like it. On the other hand, I felt that what I did was right,' Subodh said, 'For me, getting nominated is a big thing.' While participating in RC 'Voice of Nepal', lyricist Ambika Gurung offered her to sing this song. RC, who is also the singer of the popular song 'Sinki Achar' with Anju Pant, is a strong contender in this category.
