Artist and writer Narendra Bahadur Shrestha has filed a case against the team of the movie 'Farki Farki' along with actor Anmol KC for misusing his mobile number in District Court Kathmandu.
Shrestha said that he filed a lawsuit after he did not remove the number from the film despite his repeated requests. In May 081, the film Farki Farki was released . In the film, the number given by actor Anmol KC to the actress as his is mine. People watching the film have been giving me trouble for 13 months by calling me Anmol KC's number," said Shrestha.
He complained that he has been under stress for the past few months. Shrestha filed a case against actor KC along with director Suyog Gurung, Censor Board, producer Rohit Adhkari and others.
The same number has been in the promo for 15 days now . Now this number spread all over the world . The phone is coming minute by minute . I am a 78 year old man under this unnecessary stress . This is a crime," he said.
Bhuvan KC and the film production team complained that no action was taken despite informing them about this.
'I told Bhuvan KC when he was the chairman of the board . He denied that I was not involved in it. Also told the censor board . No hearing . This is the number I have taken from the beginning . Can't even change . The team should be sensitive to this issue. I was defamed. Public life was affected, he complained.
Shrestha has demanded necessary action and compensation.
