The first session of the dialogue program conducted in different sessions was focused on the topic 'New Generation, New Approach in Nepali Cinema'. Actress Upasana Singh Thakuri, actor Divyadev Pant and president of Film Journalists Association of Nepal Sameer Balami participated as speakers in that session. The participants discussed the opportunities, challenges and the impact of the changing technology of the new generation that appeared in Nepali movies recently.
The second session focused on the topic of 'History and Culture of the Far West in Cinema'. Writer Hemant Vivash, who is knowledgeable about the art and culture of the far western region, film director Nawal Nepal and actor Pushpa Khadka participated as speakers in the session. They also announced that they will produce a new film based on the original theme of the Far West, which will be shot at the locations here.
The third session focused on the topic 'Doteli language - cinema and music'. Lyricist Harak Saund, senior Deuda singer Narendraraj Regmi and journalist Umaid Bagchan participated as speakers in that session. They discussed about Deuda songs and music and its originality.
The fourth session was focused on the topic 'Cinema's role in promoting tourism in the Far West'. Actor Saraswati Khadka, producer of the first Dotelli movie 'Gauri' Khadga Bahadur Malla and Tharu movie actor Prem Chaudhary participated as speakers in the session. They discussed the contribution of cinema in the promotion of tourism in the Far West and the tourist spots that can be included in Nepali cinema.
They emphasized that covering Dodhara Chandni, Api Himal, Saipal Himal, Khaptad, Badimalika and other places in the cinema will help in the promotion of local tourism. The dialogue program was jointly organized by Film Journalists Association Nepal, Kailali and JD Associates on Saturday.
