They started their careers together, making a strong impression in the world of acting. However, it took 15 years for Divya Dev and Mahesh Tripathi to become known to the general public. Well-wishers were worried, when will these two be known among the general audience? Finally, their wish has been fulfilled, these two have started to be recognized by the general audience. Already recognized among theater and film connoisseurs, commercial films brought the two to the general public. According to Mahesh, he was waiting for this day along with Divya. Being known for your talent is an achievement for any artist.

Mahesh and Divya were met by Oscar Film College. Askar arrived three months before Mahesh, Divya . However, like Mahesh, he did not continue his college studies. After studying acting for a year, he went to the stage. Mahesh got busy studying acting, later started teaching acting at Oscar. Taught in Oscar for 10 years. The two worked together on 'The Laramie Project' and a short film. Recently, they were seen together on the same screen in 'Aktor'. At a glance, it seems that not only the career of these two, but also the acting journey, the struggle has progressed together .

In the year 2081, there were so many films of Mahesh and Divya that they continued to talk about them. The number of film offers increased in the same way. Divya did four films in 2081, three of which were released. 'Pitamber' and 'Actor' were released on the same day. Divya has experienced that his acting in these films has brought him to the 'mass' audience.

'Slowly reached the mass audience, but felt as if nothing had happened. But, I am happy when the new viewers seem to know each other,' said Divya. Despite appearing in a different role in 'Chiso Ashtre', 'Pitamber' and 'Karma' have made Divya known as a dangerous 'villain' among the audience. Mahesh, who succeeded in garnering praise from the performance of '

Halkara', also became famous in the year 081 for his hard work in the character of 'Laaz Sharanam'. After 'Halkara', 4/5 of Mahesh's films came consecutively. 2081 became fruitful for Mahesh when the films made 2/3 years ago came together. 'Laaz Sharanam', 'Pheri Resham Philili', 'Out Law' put Mahesh in the limelight this year . He was seen in a very different avatar in the character of 'Laaj Sharanam'. Mahesh lost more than 20 kg weight for the character. Worked similarly on language and love, so that Mahesh's hard work on characterization was universally appreciated . "If you work hard, you will get good results," says Mahesh.

Recently Mahesh got an opportunity to be interviewed with a funny incident when he reached Dhankuta for the shooting of the film. He was riding high in a new avatar of a new film . At that time, the whispering of some people hit his ears. 'Hey look, isn't that Mahesh Tripathi ?' While they were talking, Mahesh realized that his work had reached the ground. 'It's fun, when people recognize it like this . In a way, this is the reason why I got involved in the film,' said Mahesh, 'I reached a small audience with my light, agile height. But now, when Nepali brothers and sisters reach their parents through media, newspapers and work, they have started to recognize them.'

Divya also gained a similar experience when she reached the halls of Dhangadhi, Nepalgunj, Pokhara for the promotion of the film 'Pitambar'. On reaching there, Divya's heart was happy when many spectators praised her by name. 'The special reason behind the audience recognition is also connected with the work we get,' said Divya . Till the time of 'Chiso Ashtre', Divya felt that it would be better to make a film but with a good screenplay . However, after two years, he could not do much work, he did not get a good film . After that, Divya felt that all the films that came to Vatabhat! Mahesh's experience says that it is not possible to survive by making one film a year in the Nepali film industry. So after 'Halkara', Mahesh also started doing all the films that were offered.

'Sometimes the script doesn't work . But, the work had to be done, there is no other way . At that time, I stop myself from being a carpenter . Carpenter sometimes has to build a house and toilet too . A castle was not envisioned when making a toilet . That's why I learned over the years that you should work as it comes,' said Mahesh. Divya adds to Mahesh's story, 'I will do the film by choosing a little bit . However, the nature of our work is the same. Lying on the bed without doing anything gives rise to the ego that he is a dangerous actor . But even the seemingly normal character sometimes has its own weakness . That's why I had to do things constantly to balance myself.'

Divya first creates the background, and then begins characterizing . This is the line he takes in characterisation. He did the same in 'Pitambar', the audience liked that character very much. He also works as a background in the 'larger than life' character . He questions the director about the character, writes about the character on the copy, and continues to think. It is this process that Divya has followed in character portrayal that most of his characters look believable on the screen .

The much-awaited movie 'Rudane' also becomes a topic of divine discussion from time to time. Rudane Bann Divya's acting, hard work, this film is awaited among his fans . The poster and teaser of the film has been released, but the film is not yet complete . Divya is questioned by many about the performance of 'Rudane'. However, he himself does not have the answer. Despite playing different characters in more than 30/35 dramas, the question of 'crying' because of Rup Chandra Bishta never leaves him . 'It was done with as much dedication as could be done at that time, Rudanema . That is especially passion driven work,' said Divya recalling the past .

Especially Divya and Mahesh are contenders for the lead role . But they are still stuck in small roles. However, the attachment of these two is different, no matter how short the role is, they stand strong with their acting skills . Waiting for the lead role . 'Where else is it done except for the lead role,' says Mahesh jokingly. Mahesh prefers to do characters that he finds interesting, be it the lead or the supporting role.

While reading Oscar, Mahesh made more than 500 short films . Mahesh, who has become a very busy artist in college, was tagged Rajesh Hamal by many at that time. After doing 300 short films, that tag was filled . Everyone called Mahesh a 'good actor'. However, as soon as the script was in hand, Mahesh's heart was beating strongly. At that time, Mahesh felt that if the craft of the film is good, then the work of the artist will look good, and there will be no danger in himself. He says, "If I was good, I wouldn't have been afraid when I got a script like this". Why am I called a good artist? I understood then, the story that is well written, the character that I work hard on and the film that has a good director - only then my work looks good .'

Divya and Mahesh had to wait for a long time to become known among the general audience. Looking back, Divya and Mahesh feel like those college days are long gone. However, it has been 14 years since I studied college. Before college, Mahesh started acting in a teleserial around 2008, Divya started around 2010 . Before acting, Divya went to Australia, but the hunger for acting brought him back to Nepal. Divya spent a lot of time on stage. The theater kept a limited audience. However, his acting was appreciated by the general audience with the films like 'Ciso Estre' and 'Mahajatra'. 'Unless you do a commercial film, it is a bit difficult to reach the masses,' said Divya.

18 of the dramas he has done so far have been done in English. Divya, who has proved himself to be excellent in dramas like 'Hamlet', 'Look Back in Anger', 'Sandaju's Mahabharata', 'Same Time Next Year', has done films like 'Nagarik', 'Super Hit' and 'Avaran'. However, Divya did not appear in this film on the big screen. 'Chiso Ashtre', 'Dakini', 'Hijo Aajka Kura', 'Radha' are now known to the general audience.

Mahesh  sees a problem in himself for not coming into the 'spotlight' sooner. In the initial days, he had a feeling that he should not work in the film 'Jhur'. Next, Mahesh and Divya had to dig the steps themselves. No one in the family was in the film industry, it was difficult to shine easily in this field . Some college students used to say that they would work with Mahesh. However, when the film was announced, another actor would have been taken. The producer used to say that people don't recognize the face, they don't believe it,' says Mahesh, 'maybe if our father, mother or sister were filmmakers, they would have come 10 years ago.'

Mahesh left engineering (graduated in electronics engineering) and came to acting. As soon as he came to Kathmandu from Pokhara in 065/66, he was not in a position to immediately believe in acting. That's why he rushed to many directors of teleserials and joined hands. What he didn't do at that time was cleaning artist's shoes. He did the work of giving water to the artist and holding the reflector. Got work in passing scenes. Got a chance to work as an assistant in the direction . Since he used to use the internet, he started searching for acting right away. Learned about Navaras while working on

teleserial. Acting is highly appreciated in the world, actors go to big universities and give masterclasses. 'Is this Navarasa's work to get there?' The question arose. After that, Mahesh felt that he should read the film. Now he is so busy with films that he doesn't even bother to take acting classes. Mahesh, who started his career with 'November Rain', has also been brought to the audience by mainstream films.

Even after spending a decade in acting, the hunger for acting has not gone away from Divya and Mahesh . They still want to amaze the audience with their acting skills .
