'Hera Feri 3' in confusion after Paresh Rawal's exit

After actor Paresh Rawal's exit from the film 'Hera Pheri 3', there has been a stir in the Bollywood film industry.

Paresh Rawal also informed that he will not be in the film through social media. Actor Sunil Shetty, one of the main characters of the film, gave some feedback on this and said, 'It is not possible to make this film without Paresh Rawal.' Priyadarshan, who directed the first part of

'Hera Pheri', has also expressed his surprise at Paresh Rawal's decision.  Due to actor Akshay Kumar's action, the film has become more controversial. Akshay Kumar also sent a legal notice of Rs 25 crore to Paresh Rawal due to leaving the film.

First released in the year 2000, 'Hera Pheri' had Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Sunil Shetty in the lead roles. After the film became a huge hit, its sequel 'Phir Hera Pheri' came in 2006.

Paresh Rawal called his role in 'Hera Pheri' as a 'cheek trap' in an interview given to Lalantop. He also said that he wanted to get rid of that image after making the sequels.

In that interview, he was asked whether Akshay Kumar is a friend or not. He initially said yes. Then he added, 'In the film industry you have colleagues, in theater you have friends, in school you have real friends.'

Last Sunday, Paresh Rawal wrote on X (formerly Twitter) with a clarification, 'I want to make it clear that my decision to part with Hera Pheri 3 is not due to any creative differences. I have no quarrel with director Priyadarshan. I have respect, love and trust towards him.'

Sunil Shetty said that he was shocked to hear this news. He said, "I was completely devastated when I heard this news. If there was a movie. The one I was waiting for was 'Hera Pheri'. This film cannot be made without 100% Paresh Rawal. One percent can be made without us (Akshay and me), but not without Babu Bhaiya (Paresh Rawal).'' In an interview to

Times Now, Sunil Shetty said, 'I believe that everything will be fine. But I didn't know anything about it. Like you, I only heard from the media,' he added, 'Even if the film is not made, I don't want to see any rift between Paresh and Akshay.'

director Priyadarshan has also responded to this. He said, "Paresh has not told me anything yet. Akshay Kumar bought the rights from filmmaker Feroze Nadiadwala. So he has the right to take legal action.'

He said, 'Before starting the film, Akshay asked me to talk to Sunil and Paresh. Both were ready. I have nothing to lose, but Akshay has invested the money.

Hindustan Times claims that a legal notice has been sent to Paresh Rawal. Paresh signed a legal agreement and left the film after the shooting started. In the conversation with Paresh, he replied that he had no information about it.
