'The Nepali version is more delicious than the Hindi version!' When India's famous music company 'T-Series' released the Hindi remake of the Nepali song 'Bardli' 'Oof' on YouTube, most of the people are giving the same reaction to singer Sushant KC. Sushant is of the view that the Hindi version had to be brought due to the collaboration with 'T Series' and 'Bardli' has been kept as it is for those who like Nepali.
'Nepali songs are being released for those who like Nepali songs, it has not gone anywhere . T-Series wanted Hindi, so I wrote the Hindi version,' said Sushant about the collaboration, 'It's a big thing to have a song by a Nepali singer on a YouTube channel like T-Series'.
According to Sushant, after listening to 'Bardli', the 'T Series' group approached him a month ago with the proposal of the Hindi version . Sushant's idea of reaching a large audience, 'T-Series' was like finding a stone when he was looking for it! 'I am very happy to collaborate with T-Series as a Nepali singer. We are very happy to bring a song from such a big YouTube channel,' said Sushant happily. In terms of
initiator, Sushant had a lot of faith in 'Bardli'. Among the songs written so far, this is the song prepared in a short period of time. While sitting in the studio before Tihar, when a cello tune came out, the words of 'Bardli' came to mind . Director Nayan Rai was also in the studio. While humming the words, Sushant thought, -'This should be released before Tihar' .
Accordingly, after preparing audio and video within a week, 'Bardli' was released. At that time, they did not think that this song would get this kind of discussion. However, while making the Hindi remake of the song, Sushant thinks that the fun style of the song has attracted the hearts of all the viewers. I think, whatever the song is, the audience should be entertained by it. Perhaps because the audio and video of this song are equally enjoyable, the audience enjoyed this song, sat and listened to it with their family,' said Sushant.
According to him, after connecting with 'T-Series', it took a long time to work from the audio to the video of 'Oof'. Sushant prepared the audio along with Kovid Bajr. After preparing the structure of the song, the instruments were entrusted to Kovid to mix the Nepali instruments.
'Bardli' was also collaborated with Kovid . Prepared the audio and sent it to the Indian group. Loved the first audio, no suggestions for changes. Sushant was entrusted by 'T-Series' to handle all the creative aspects of the Hindi version. So Nepal took charge of audio/video. The creative side of Sushant didn't allow to translate the words of the song literally while making a
Hindi version. So I spent 2/3 days and wrote the Hindi words. According to the melody of the song, Hindi words were added to it, like; Kaise hua hua ye asar, teri kasti me . Duba is everyone's mistake. Jabse mila hoon tumse, dilke barjasti hai . Rakhloon Me Tumko Dhundke...
Jabki in this first tune of the song, Sushant sings 'Kahil Ainda Aoum Maya Toke Ghar Bardali Me . Waiting to see you . There was a commotion in the whole city, in the streets. He wrote in the Nepali word 'Bardli' that he teases me very much.
The Hindi words drawn in 'Oof' are as sweet and lyrical as Nepali. The Hindi version of the chorus like 'Us Ek Jhalak, Muskanai Aalag, Maryo Ni Mayale' sounds even sweeter - 'Us Ek Jhalak, Machati Hai Dhadak . oops ? His kya baat karen ?'
The part sung by singer Indrakala Rai has been kept in the old version with the thought of preserving Nepali spirit in 'Oof'. The beautiful part of 'Oof' is the Nepaliness mixed in it . Since Nepali baja, Nepali language has made 'Uf' as beautiful as 'Bardli'. The female voice of 'Bardli' is well drawn for Nepali Marmaka;
Laijau Hai Laijau Malai
Even now in youth
Where do we sway our hearts
'From the T-series, we got to recite Nepali words, Nepali voice . I am happy,' said Sushant . Sushant had previously sung a Hindi song with the lyrics 'Kya Kardiya'. Sushant says that he tried to sing in new languages with the thought of reaching a large audience.
'If Chinese came, I would sing in Chinese . Everyone understands the Hindi language in Nepal, thinking why not sing, I brought a song in Hindi language,' he said. The song, which was viewed nearly 8 million times within 8 hours of its publication on YouTube, also expresses this excitement within Sushant.
two video shot in one night
'Oops' video is produced by 'Stellars Studio' . Especially Sushant's office is nearby, 'Steller's Studio' . Earlier, Steelers also made a video of 'Bardley'.
Sushant entrusted the video to them this time too. According to Nayan Rai, the director of the video, about 200 Nepali people were used to shoot the video. Earlier, Anjon Limbu had directed the video of 'Bardli', Nayan took charge of the Hindi version. Along with the direction, Nayan was also involved in the shooting of this song.
Now Nayan is receiving more responses from the Indian audience than from Nepal. Working with this kind of international company was also a big challenge for Stellars. Therefore, with the idea of making the video of a high standard, Nayan says that the production has been spent a lot. T-Series instructed Nayan's group to 'show Nepal as beautiful as possible'. He also suggested that Nepaliness should be reflected in the song. So Nayan's group tried to show the atmosphere of Tihar in the video . He spent two days in Bhadgaon resort of Bhaktapur and prepared the video of the song. To show the excitement of Tihar, they shot a video of the song for two nights. During the day, the actors prepared, and at night the shooting took place.
'The budget was huge . So we didn't put any reduction in the production . We would start shooting after sunset, and finish before sunrise in the morning . Especially We took two days and two nights to shoot the video,' said Nayan, 'Especially this song was a great opportunity for all of us . So we didn't leave any room for improvement.' Sushant adds to Nayan's story, 'We did a lot of preparation to make a high-quality video . We went to learn dance.'
According to Nayan, there were 50 people in the production crew for the video of the song, and 50 people in the dancing group . In total, 200 groups were involved in video production.
'Bardli' had many stars acting . However, only Swastima Khadka is repeated in 'Uf'. Why ? Especially the most famous actress of Nepal was to show the 'Oof' team in the video . Swastima's name came to the fore, 'T-Series' chose him . Then actress Swastima acted in the video along with Sushant .
Nayan feels that Sushant's melody is captivating and its talk has spread from the country to neighboring India. 'The way Sushant gave the melody of Bardali to the Nepali film industry by mixing his experience and music career, that must have been liked by other foreign viewers from Nepal,' Nayan said, 'In the video, we have tried to show the same culture and vibes of Nepali people who live life with laughter as a celebration.'
