Mohanlal and Prithviraj Sukumaran's much awaited film 'L2: Ampuran' has surpassed the record of 'Pushpa 2' even before its release.

According to the latest report, 'L 2 : Ampuran' has surpassed Allu Arjun starrer film 'Pushpa 2' in the opening earnings. 

Even before the release of the film, 'L 2: Empuran' has completed advance bookings of 10.01 crores . Which is a big achievement for Kerala film industry .

has pre-sales of more than 10 crores for the first day alone . Earlier, this record was held by Thalapathy Vijay's 'Leo'. The

film booked a booking of 12 crores. Now 'L 2: Empuran' is on its way to break this record .

Pushpa 2 earned Rs 6.35 crore on its first day . But 'L 2 : Ampuran' has managed to pull the audience to the hall by collecting even more.

This film is releasing worldwide on March 27.
