Russian Film Festival is celebrated under Nepal International Film Festival (NIF). Organizer Roskino will screen Russian films at the festival from March 7 to 11. Three Russian films were screened with the support of the Ministry of Culture of Russia in celebration of the Russian Film Day at the Shadow Center in Kathmandu on Saturday.

President of Nepal International Film Festival KP Pathak expressed his happiness to celebrate Russian Film Day at NIF for the first time. We wanted to establish film collaboration with different countries. And we want to show world movies including Nepali to the world . The goal of this year's NIF is to promote Russian society, Russian films and Russian activities," said Pathak. 

Antham Maslov, director of the Russian Culture Center, said that it is exciting to show Russian films among Nepali audiences.

"Nuremberg" made in 2023, "Chauthai" directed by Abzhenia Tirdatova, "Alexandra Sahrana" was shown in the shadow.
