Nepali actress Nikita Chandak is going to be roped in by renowned Indian film director Sanjay Leela Bhansali in his upcoming film.
Nikita mentioned this while posting a picture with director Bhansali on her official social network Facebook. She wrote, "I am very grateful and excited to be a small part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir's cinema world!" My Bollywood debut could not have been better than this!'
Currently, he is playing 'Rajaganj' (Pooja Sir) in Nepali cinema halls. While Nikita's acting is being liked by the general audience as well as the critics, Bhansali, the director of hit films like 'Devdas', 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Bajirao Mastani' has asked him to act in his new film.
Bhansali's other films like 'Gangubai Kathiawadi', 'Khamosi', 'Gujarish' are also known for their powerful portrayal of female characters. Nikita, who is also the winner of Miss Nepal in 2017, has worked in 'Sanglo' of 2020 directed by Viraj Bhatt and 'The Seamless' of 2024 before 'Rajaganj'.
Nikita met Bhansali at 'The City of Drums' in Mumbai. They have not released the name of the film.
