MP Asim Shah has said that he will show solidarity in the movement of film workers regarding censorship. In the House of Representatives meeting, he raised his voice against the censorship imposed by the Censor Board on the film 'Rajaganj' and said that he will also support the movement against censorship.

``CPN-UML president gave the promise of mango falling from the tree to the parties that will leave the Constituent Assembly publicly. Objecting to the inclusion of the scene of the speech in the film, the Censor Board has given permission to Rajaganj to perform only by cutting the visual dialogue,' he said, 'The trend of unnecessary cutting in the mouth of the film release has now been seen in the Censor Board . His victim has been in many movies like Laj Sharanam, Rajaganj lately.'

He expressed his displeasure that the government is restricting the freedom of speech while expressing the issues of the society through movies.

He also requested the government to dismiss the politically appointed members of the Censor Board and appoint people who understand film art. He said, 'When using unnecessary scissors in a film like this, I also request you to realize that the life of the government has also been cut with the same scissors.' MP Shah is also a filmmaker.

Now, the filmmakers are protesting after the Censor Board used scissors on 'Rajaganj'.
