Actor Harivansh Acharya wanted to get out of the 'comedian' tag. However, in the year 2054, he became a revolutionary character in 'Balidan' and won the heart of director Tulsi Ghimire.
Harivansh, who was always laughing, made many people cry at that time.
Lately Pradeep Bhattarai directed film 'Mahapurusha' or 'Mahajatra'. In both the films he did not have a funny role. "However, it was difficult for me to get out of that tag," says Harivansh.
But this time Harivansh is confident. He played the role of a Bhutanese refugee in the film 'Bhuthan' and has led the entire story. Remembering Guru Hariprasad Rimal, he looks at his own work of 'Bhuthan'. And he says, 'He taught me a lot in drama.' He taught campaigning with eyes and gestures. Taught the way to speak dialogue and the ups and downs . That's what I remembered while working in Bhuthan.'
Vinod Paudel, the director of 'Bhuthan', made 'Bulbul' a few years ago. At that time, Harivansh had a hidden desire in his mind, 'I will get to work with this director someday.' Without saying a
, one day Vinod sent Harivansh the script of a new film with an offer to work. 'The script is abstract . Difficult to read and understand. Read it two or three times . I hope that I can show some work in it,' says Harivansh. A strange fear began to grow in his heart as he weaved a
plan. The fear of has not left him since he made his debut in acting. This Even if you are a regular show during 50 years, you get scared before going on stage . Fear is the greatest seriousness,' he says. Because of that seriousness, he was afraid. Harivansh feels that the main character in the film has to do the heavy lifting. On top of that, the joint venture of Nepal and Hollywood. Screen share with famous Hollywood actor Bruce Dern . Fear began to take hold. When the director is satisfied, look at your work on the monitor. I overcame my fear. And the way to work harder has opened up,' he says . Harivamsa adopted the long hair, growing beard and the world that the characters in the screenplay have to live in the
character . It was interesting while sitting in the workshop. Because, he was being trained by his grandson's generation. After sitting in the workshop for 9 days, the brothers and sisters who told me the pace and situation of the dialogue are students from Hollywood. I also sat attentively . I learned a lot,' he says .
The change in his get-up kept encouraging him . But when the hair fell while bleaching the hair, I was heartbroken . He narrates, "At that time, the hair fell in pieces like Amrisa's hair". It was a sacrifice for my character.'
He also met and interacted with Bhutanese refugees in America. "That's why I think I was able to get into the character well," he says.
Harivansh has unforgettable memories of shooting in America at minus degrees Celsius. He remembers the scene of the train. "Behind the corner of the tree I, Paripatti cameraman . A railway track in between. Many people have come to commit suicide in the railway line. If he sees people walking there, the railway driver informs the police . "Suddenly, the railway police came from the same track," he remembers. The
is that he should have stayed hidden, and when the train came, he should have stood up . That train is seven kilometers long. In the winter months, there are snowflakes on the roof of the train . As the high speed of the train falls down, the ice blocks are constantly hitting the mouth of Harivamsa. "I felt like I was going to fall when I was hit by that stick." But I didn't fall,' he remembers, 'After looking at the monitor, my legs were already visible.' Harivamsa was blessed. Harivamsa became distraught after being moved for the next day. The other day it didn't snow. That happened easily . But the things that were done with difficulty were not OK,' he says. She has a scene with Hollywood famous actor Bruce Durney in
movie. There is no dialogue in that scene. They look at each other . During the shoot, Bruce complimented Harivansh and said, "Your eyes are very attractive". You did a very good performance.'
'It was as if such a great artist was blessed,' says Harivansh. Along with Harivansh and Bruce, the film also stars Dayahang Rai, Pooja Chand Lama, Richa Ghimire, Bhuvan Pyakurel, Aditi Pyakurel, Kausheela Khanal Karmacharya, Anuradha Mazumdar from India. Now the film is releasing on May 12. While working on
films, Harivansh is fascinated by the director's style. The director has his own style of acting. I was impressed,' he says.
These days, Harivansh wants to work on similar characters. "So that I can get out of the old tags," he explains .
