Artists from 13 countries will perform street plays in Dhankuta

Theater actors from 13 different countries will jointly present a street play in Dhankuta on Monday in conjunction with Sarvanam Natya Group.

Ashesh Malla, the founder of Sarvanam, informed that street plays will be presented in collaboration with the International People's Theater Festival Society and Sarvanam Theatre.

The main theme of the festival is 'Exchange of culture and preservation of sustainable future', Mall said that 40 famous artists from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, China, Singapore, South Korea, Philippines, France, UK, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Bangkok and other countries will perform. It is said that more than 200 painters and artists have participated in the festival in different cities of 13 countries in Asia.

Kopche re-awakening campaign advisor Rajendra Pradhan informed that the play will be performed in Dhankuta Municipality-5 Lower Kopche from 1 pm on Monday. 

Earlier, the play was presented in Kathmandu from February 17 to five days in Kathmandu and then in Itahari from February 23 to 25. It is said that there will be a demonstration in Dhankuta only for one day. A group of actors is reaching Dhankuta in the morning to participate in the play.
