A few months ago, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap said that he was going to quit Bollywood. Some people had forgotten that saying that he might have said that on impulse. But suddenly he announced that he has left Mumbai and moved elsewhere. This news is currently creating a sensation in the Indian cinema sector.

In a conversation with The Hindu on Wednesday, he said that he has left Mumbai. Filmmaker Kashyap, while discussing the reason for his migration, clarified that he had to leave the city to keep himself away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and the competitive environment of the Hindi film industry. However, according to some sources, it is speculated that he may have moved to Bangalore.

'Poisonous' Bollywood He has said that he is disappointed because creativity and reality are less visible in the film industry. The industry has become very toxic. Everyone is chasing unrealistic goals . They are trying to make a film worth 500 or 800 crores . Rather than how to make a film, there is a lot of speculation about how much budget to make. The creative environment has completely disappeared in the Hindi film industry.'

According to him, the current Bollywood film industry has collapsed under the pressure of the market. According to Kashyap, Bollywood filmmakers and platforms are afraid to accept new and challenging ideas, which has created a situation where unnecessary precautions have to be taken in the work process. His conclusion is that Bollywood is not interested in taking risks and presenting new types of content in the process of film making and that is why Bollywood actors are more attracted to luxurious lifestyles and commercial success instead of creative work. He said that he left the city because such things made him dissatisfied.

Last December, he also acted in Ashiq Abu's Malayalam film 'Rifle Club'. The cameo in the film 'Maharaja' with Sethupathi also brought Kashyap good publicity. Even though it was for a short period of time, the character he played added depth to the story of the film. The film was equally liked by the general audience and the critics.  With the success of

'Maharaja', Kashyap has recently been showing special interest in South Indian films . In addition to acting, he is also involved in film production, which can be expected to make his new journey more interesting.
