The film 'Laaj Sharanam' directed by Kumar Kattel is now open for promotion and screening. With the approval of the Central Film Examination Committee (Censor Board) for the exhibition, the film is now open for publicity and screening.
After former minister Aftaw Alam filed a lawsuit saying that the film has a character that closely matches his cover, the Patan High Court granted an interim order to stop the broadcast until the Censor Board gives permission . Since then the promotion of the film was stopped . The production team had also removed the promotional song posted on YouTube earlier.
This film is going to be screened on the day of Mahashivaratri on February 14th.
