Screenwriting workshop is going to be conducted in Kathmandu. Shiksha Foundation Nepal in collaboration with Kathasatha has announced a screenwriting workshop 'Go Tell It on the Mountain' from 4th to 7th Chait.
Famous Bollywood screenwriter Bhavani Iyer will give training in the workshop. She is the screenwriter of Bollywood films 'Black', 'Gujarish', 'Lootera' and 'Raazi'.
Shiksha Foundation has released a statement saying that it is going to conduct a workshop for writers of Nepali feature films to improve their skills and strengthen their professional writing. "This workshop will cover various aspects of screenwriting with a focus on finding the core of the story," the statement said.
Writers can submit their screenplays in English or Nepali for this workshop . According to the organizer, participating writers can participate in the workshop in any language they are comfortable with.
Filmmaker Pravesh Gurung, who has worked as chief assistant director and co-director with filmmakers like Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Karan Johar, will facilitate the workshop . Writers who have written at least one feature film script for the
workshop can apply. In the program There will be no charge for attendance.
