Nepathya has made a series musical tour of Australia. On this first overseas tour of 2025, the band will spend a month performing in seven Australian cities.
The Nepathya Yatra, which will start from the federal capital Canberra on the 3rd of March, will be completed by reaching Sydney on the 29th of the same month. Meanwhile, the band will be performing in Perth, Brisbane, Hobart, Adelaide and Melbourne.
This is the seventh Australian tour series of the leading band Nepathya, who has been connecting listeners and viewers around the world who enjoy Nepaliness through folk rock.
'Even though Nepathya has been performing in the country and abroad since its inception, it was Australia that made the band stand out for the first time in a unique style,' recalls lead singer and leader Amrit Gurung, 'The warm love received from the audience has left an unforgettable impression on every trip.' This time, a 14-member group with six band members and eight technical and management members will depart for the trip to Australia.
This year's first concert will be held at the Royal Theater in the National Convention Center in Canberra. Six days after that, on the 9th of March, the well-known voice of Nepali folk music will be heard in the "Metro City" of Perth. The city is the capital of the state of Western Australia.
With this presentation on the west coast of the country, the band will again reach Brisbane on the east coast. The performance will be held on the 14th of March at the 'The Tivoli' hall in the capital of the state of Queensland. Soon after, the team will travel to the southern island of Tasmania . 'Odeon Theatre' located in the capital Hobart On March 18th, the songs of Nepathya will be recited. The band has already performed in this hall.
The fifth presentation will be held in Adelaide, the capital of the state of South Australia. The band will perform at the Hindley Street Music Hall on March 21. After that, the band will reach Melbourne, the capital of the state of Victoria, for a concert. On the day of March 24th, Nepathya will stand up in the "Festival Hall" there. The next trip will be to Sydney, the city with the most fans of the band in the southern hemisphere.
The first concert in New South Wales, the capital and economic center of Australia, will be held at the Hodern Pavilion in Sydney. Nepathya is going to stand for the second time in this hall located in Moor Park, where many world famous artists have presented themselves. Thus, after experiencing a wide audience in Sydney, the band will start preparing for its return home .
'As always, this time we have chosen songs in a special way for the performance in Australia, which has received immense love from the audience,' adds the lead singer and leader Amrit, 'We are also preparing to sing the songs to the audience with a different setlist than before.' Dineshraj Regmi will help. This is also the 25th year that Nepalaya has been associated with the band in terms of handling the management of Nepathya. Meanwhile, the band has performed 88 times in 46 cities in 17 countries.
