The grand finale of 'World of Dance Nepal' has been completed. This Nepali edition of the famous American 'World of Dance' has been organized with the aim of introducing Nepali dancers to the world.
According to SOCA National Director Roshan Gahatraj, 33 dance groups from Dhankuta in eastern Nepal to West Kailali competed for the final stage. Dancers JD Tamu, Nishant Gauchan and Mukesh Dhakal were the judges of the competition. According to JD, this show has again established a new historical beginning in the dance world. In the
competition, 'The Brave Gorkha' of Butwal became the winner from the upper team division. Kathmandu's 'group overdose' is the second one 'Y Stand Crew' from Lalitpur became third. Similarly, "Nepa Dance Academy" winner of Kathmandu, "Hand to Hand Crew" from Banda Morang and "Creator Crew" from Lalitpur became third in the junior team division.
Kailali's Bablu and Rohit, Kathmandu's Swastik Aryal and Jhapa's SNS Queens became first, second and third respectively. It is said that these winners will represent Nepal in the 'World Finals' to be held in America next June. In the grand finale, Sunita Dangol, Deputy Mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, awarded trophies, checks and medals to the winning team. Dancer Teriya Magar, who won various dance reality shows in India, was also present at the event organized by
Mandala Entertainment.
