Haat Mela was held in Jaharsingh Paua located in Shankharapur Municipality-3 of Kathmandu last Monday and Tuesday. Stalls of fruits and vegetables were set up to sell various items. Choureli, sticks were pinged nearby, while more than a dozen artists were busy dancing in the center of the fair.
The song was blaring:
, while watching, the lock opened, I understood about love,
, while watching, the mustache grew, I understood about love. While the crowd was offering food and rosary in welcome, the adults were looking at the dancing girl.
These adults wearing military uniforms looked like Congress leader and former minister Mohammad Aftab Alam. Sonalal is the one who looks exactly like Alam from her get up, mannerisms and speaking style. And, with the sets of Hatbazaar, the song of the film Laaj Sharanam is being shot here. In the song, Gambhir Bishte was directing the dance of the dozen actors of the film.
'I came here to enjoy the atmosphere rather than dancing,' said Sonalal aka Sitaram Kattel (Dhurmus), who was recently in the limelight with Alam's getup. He returned to film acting after 5 years. The last time he acted in the movie 'Santi Virus'.
He reached Haat Bazaar along with actors Arpan Thapa, Mukund Shrestha and Mahesh Tripathi. Sitaram, who also played Sonalal's character in the film, hesitated to open up about his character after the words 'Aag langaka, aag' uttered by Alam when he was arrested on the charge of burning the bomb blast victims in the chimney of a brick kiln.
said, 'Let's not talk about this, I'm under a bit of pressure right now.' Then Alam was sentenced to life imprisonment by Rautahat district court on 2064 Chait 27 Rajpur bomb attack on May 13.
Sitaram did not want to open his mouth about Sonalal's character similarity with Alam, the main character of the Rajpur bomb incident, which became complicated even politically. "It has become like this by thinking during character building," he added. For this character, Sitaram has artificially removed the stomach and 'hip' through silicone, besides gaining weight.
Vijay Baral, Sagar Lamsal, Harish Niraula, Arjun Ghimire along with Sitaram, Mukund, Arpan and Mahesh in 'Herdaherdaiima', which is a promotional song in the movie 'Laaj Sharanam' directed by Kumar Kattel, has been paired by dance director Gambhir with Mala Limbu and Gajit Bishta.
'It was a very challenging task for me to present 10-11 popular artists in one frame with their characters within a three-minute song,' Gambhir said, 'However, I think this song based on folklore will make the listeners and viewers happy.' Its video is being released on Thursday.
Director Kumar, who is making a film for the first time with famous comedy teleserials like 'Bhadragol' and 'Sakkigoni', said that he is optimistic about 'Laaz Sharanam'. He says that the film, which is going to be screened nationwide from February 14 after the end of Shivratri, will bring a new taste to the audience as it has a strong theme and an agile presentation. He said that 'Herdaherdaimma' was kept as an 'OST song' as a promotional song because the other songs in the film come according to the scene and mood of the characters.
Produced by Naveen Shrestha under the banner of JPT Creation, the screenplay of 'Laaj Sharanam' has been prepared by director Kumar along with Deepak Acharya. The film is edited by Milan Shrestha and the cinematography is done by Sudeep Baral.
