Palenti has officially started with a 2-hour musical performance by Abhigya Ghimire and Benup Chhetri at Nepalaya's office in Kalikasthan.
Abhigya and Benup performed as a tribute to the late singer/singer who had previously performed at Palenti. Earlier, 56 singers/singers have given musical performances in the Plenty series. A performance titled 'Flower' was performed in memory of 11 singers and musicians who passed away associated with Palenti. For
, even in the meantime, Palanti series was happening sporadically. However, now the last Friday of the English month has been smoothed out with the goal of making a series. We invited our regular audience to the program on Friday and Saturday. Now that's the ticket,'' Abhas said, 'We have done this program especially to remember the artists who have passed away after being associated with Palenti.' With the 20th year of Tekke, the organizing organization Nepalaya will start this series every month from now on.
Most of the songs in Friday and Saturday's performances were related to flowers . Abhas also wrote an essay on flowers. The same essay was presented along with the reading. In the style of lyrical essays, they convey the impression that they have started a new era this time . The essay was about the three late artists . More than 90 spectators were present on Saturday and Friday. This series of plenty was held at 'R Shala'. English word 'R' means rehearsal . Palenti will be held in the same hall from now on.
has been making Nepali modern music its own genre. Abhas opened this platform for itself when it was founded in 2005 . In 2005, Abhas gave his only performance throughout the year. Since 2006, Palanti has become a platform for Purana artists outside and inside Nepal. Where Palenti has been giving a stage to Purana artists who have gained fame by singing songs but are in the shadows.
'Nepali modern music is a genre we have been listening to for a long time . This music is an original and creative composition. There will also be literature and music. As I am working in the same genre, I started this series together with Nepali after thinking that this campaign will not work alone,' Abhas Palenti remembers the moment of its establishment . Fatteman performed in the beginning when Palenti was started together with
Nepalaya . At that time, Abhas rarely appeared on the outside stage, he was absorbed in sadhana. At that time, Nepali suggested the idea of giving a platform to Purana artists in this way, and Palenti started . Abhas has fulfilled the responsibility of combining these full-fledged artists.
'Singing on the stage was not very common in modern Nepali music . However, they were able to give a solo performance in Palenti . It was difficult to convince them for that at first. But, gradually the artists themselves also got ready,' said Abhas. Now, with the aim of connecting the new generation with the whole generation, they feel that the new generation will also be given an opportunity to perform on the stage.
