Rama Mandal, the singer of the song, reminisced about the olden days, remembers the sudden happiness in that intriguing hut. He was sitting in the corner of the house that he had built in Biratnagar. Radio Nepal was playing. Suddenly, a new song was recommended on the radio, "Now listen to the song of Nepali movie Gopikrishna in the voice of Sadhana Sargam and Rama Mandal, 'Khaan Chhau Kahan......'

Ekchin ta ranbhullama pare . And listened attentively . He said, 'The voice is echoing on its own.' After that, he jumped happily. He ran across the street carrying the radio. Approaching the neighbors, he said, 'My song is playing, listen to it.' They did not think that such a result would come. They did not think that Radio Nepal will play in Nepal. "I went crazy with happiness then," he says, recalling the unforgettable moment.

Kathmandu was the land of struggle for him. Where every day he ran for his dream of becoming a singer. During the struggle, he got an opportunity to sing in the movie Mankamana. Sung two songs in the film . The song caught the attention of producers and directors in the film industry. Uddhav Paudel, an old resident of Viratnagar, has announced that he will make a new film named 'Gopikrishna'. He offered me the song,' he remembers.

Around the year 2048, Uddhav Paudel, the family of composer Bhupendra Rajamazhi and Rama along with singer Lochan Bhattarai went to Bombay (Mumbai) to record the song. 

Rama's part was the song, 'Love is self-explanatory, there is no bond. It was the same to sing. "However, the director and the composer were not convinced of me," he recalls.

Uddhav and Bhupendra wanted Kumar Sanu to sing that song. Rama said to Uddhav, 'Director sir, let me sing a good song.' Bhupendra's wife added to him, 'The song that will be shot for Babu is the song that will be shot.' Uddhav said, 'The composer Bhupendra knows that.' Don't do what he says!' Uddhav expressed doubts, 'This is a very difficult song.' If it gets damaged, your hard work can be wasted.' 

Rama immediately replied, 'I can . I practice .' 

He kept practicing that song throughout the train journey . But it was yet to be decided whether he would sing or not. 

Rama was used to it . Then Rama recorded the song that Kumar Sanu would sing in one take . The director and the composer were shocked . "An unbeliever sang such a sweet song," they praised.  

Rama also reached Bombay for the first time and Audhi was happy to record the song. "On top of that, I was more happy that I could sing the song that Kumar Sanu was going to sing," he says.
