The Japanese Embassy in Kathmandu is going to organize a Japanese film festival. In collaboration with the Japan Foundation, a festival is going to be held on January 18 and 19 at Jamal National Dance Hall in Kathmandu.

The program is supported by the Japanese Language Teachers Association of Nepal. 5 films will be screened at the festival. Entry to the festival will be free.

On January 19th, participants in the festival will also have the opportunity to wear traditional Japanese costumes. The Japanese Embassy expects this festival to be an opportunity for Nepali viewers to understand Japanese art, culture and lifestyle.
